Multifamily Insiders Partners With NAAEI

Multifamily Insiders has partnered with the National Apartment Association Education Institute to bring educational webinars to the multifamily industry. Current offerings include a "Bed Bug-inar" web seminar covering ways to prevent bed bug infestations, as well as what to do if bed bugs are found within an apartment. The webinar is sponsored by Orkin, which provides pest control services for apartment communities. Speaking on the subject of bed bugs is Dr. Ron Harrison, Director of Technical Services for Orkin.

The webinar is expected to last 45 minutes followed by a question and answer period for attendees. Webinar registrants will receive a comprehensive toolkit that includes an educational flyer on bed bugs to distribute to residents, a White Paper on Bed Bugs and copies of Dr. Harrison's Power Point. The event costs $69 for members of NAA and $89 for non-members, and is designed for a variety of property management professionals, including onsite property managers, leasing consultants, maintenance professionals, regional managers, corporate executives, and legal professionals.

Topics will include:
• Introduction to Bed Bugs • What to do in the event of a Bed Bug sighting
• Resident Responsibilities • How to work with residents
• Prevention • How to avoid litigation

NAAEI Designates and Certificate Holders will earn one CEC/PDA for attending this Webinar.
